CHAO PHRAYA RIVER EXPRESS BOAT
Bangkok was created along the river of Chao Praya River, therefore, there are plenty of express boat services among the river totaling a number of five distinct express lines that stop at the most important piers facilitating sightseeing for tourists. The orange line runs from Nonthaburi N30 to Wat Rajsingkorn S3 daily several times per hour starting from 6 am until 7 pm. The green line is running from 6:10 am to 8:10 am and then from 4:05 pm to 6:05 pm during the week. The blue line (for tourists) runs from Sathorn to Phra Arthit daily, every 30 minutes from 9 am until 8:30 pm.
This includes five different express lines which stop at the main piers, one of which is dedicated to tourists. The Blue Line is great for sightseeing, you can easily jump onto a pier, but most people start from the Sathorn Pier, which is close to Saphan Thaksin BTS Station. You need to pay 40 baht for a one-way ticket and 150 baht for a day ticket.
-Orange line : One way fare is 15 Thai Baht
-Green line : Fares are 13 to 32 Baht depending on distance.
-Blue line : One way tickets are 60 Baht. A one day pass valid for an unlimited number of trips is 200 Baht.
-Local line : Between 10 and 20 Baht
-Yellow line : Fares are from 20 to 29 Baht

FERRYBOATS & LONG-TAIL BOATS
Ferryboats
Simply crossing the river services can be found in multiple piers along the river and it represents a cheap but slower way to get to different points of the city. Bangkok’s river crossing ferry operates at 32 different border crossings. It carries people from one side of the river to the other and a journey only costs about 3 baht. The most popular ferry crossing for tourists is the ferry between Wat Pho Temple and Wat Arun. Furthermore, the transport device has a daily number of 2.889 passengers.
Long-tail boats
This kind of boats are for private use and can be rented to explore the river. You can hire a private long-tail boat at Sathorn Pier. The prices vary but it usually starts from 1.500 THB for a period of 90 minutes, having a capacity of at least 10 people. The average number of passengers using this type of water transportation amounts to 2.889 daily.


KHLONG SAEN SAEP BOAT SERVICE
The Khlong Saen Saeb boat service operates along the Khlong Saen Saeb canal. Its rout which is over 18 kilometers long is served by 100 boats with 40 to 50 seats on each. This water transportation device runs from the west to the east through Bangkok. It furthermore transports an average of 57.557 passengers daily.
